1983年、King Recordsはその最後の企画となるMasterpieceシリーズの一環として、Blue Noteの最も希少な15タイトルの特別限定版をリリースした。複数の"Masterpiece"と呼ばれるシリーズがリリースされたが、Masterpiece Replica 15は特筆すべきものである。これらは完全なレプリカであると謳われており、日本語マーキングなし、超重量盤で圧搾され、「オリジナルのBlue Noteとサウンド的にマッチしている」ことが示唆されている。
