At its initial release, it was released as 2 LPs + 1 EP.
The first edition bonus included a poster and featured a special picture label design.
It contains live recordings from performances at Nippon Budokan, Shinojima, and Shizuoka Civic Cultural Hall held in 1979.
On March 21, 1990, it was paired with 『TAKURO TOUR 1979 Vol.2 落陽』and released as a CD under the title 『COMPLETE TAKURO TOUR 1979』(3-disc set). However, production was halted due to the inclusion of the word "つんぼ桟敷," which could be perceived as a discriminatory term, in "ペニーレインでバーボン." Subsequently, the inclusion of this track was postponed, and it was reissued in SHM-CD format on November 25, 2009.
It represents a comprehensive culmination of his career from the 1970s.
