Melodiya / His Master's Voice

UK label: launched by EMI in 1968 and continuing until the early 1980s, Melodiya / His Master's Voice issued Мелодия (Melodiya) classical and folk recordings through an exclusive contract with EMI Records.

In the USA, France and Italy many of these recordings were issued by EMI Records under the Melodiya/Angel, Melodiya / La Voix De Son Maître and Melodiya / La Voce Del Padrone sister-labels.
