This version is a 1969 stereo reissue on early green & red-labels, with the following distinguishing attributes:
Green/Red label, 1841 Broadway Address, with cat no. at top right beside logo;
'PR' suffix on label matrices, indicating it was pressed by Presswell;
Gold-stamped 'STEREO' on front of laminated, die-cut, heavy cardboard gatefold sleeve;
MGM pressing logos in runouts, indicating metal work originated at MGM Custom Pressing Division;
Catalogue inner sleeve, with latest advertised releases being SD8214–8219 (January 1969).
Runouts are hand-scribed, except for MGM stamps – the 'ankh' (like an ice cream cone with a bar across it) and the stylised block 'S').

On stereo Ornette Coleman, Don Cherry, Scott LaFaro and Billy Higgins are heard on the left channel, Eric Dolphy, Freddie Hubbard, Charlie Haden and Ed Blackwell are heard right.
