Notes

Recorded at Bell Sound Studio B, New York City, February 8, 1960. Black label with oval Vee Jay logo and rainbow color band. No “Stereo” printed on label; red “STEREO” sticker applied to front cover. Not deep-groove, but otherwise identical in appearance and sound to the 1960 stereo release. Repress, 1961. Pressed from the same Bell Sound stereo lacquer and AudioMatrix metal parts used for the first 1960 stereo issue. Manufactured on later non-deep-groove tooling, but visually and sonically indistinguishable from the earliest stereo copies. The red “STEREO” sticker was factory-applied to leftover mono jackets during early 1961, when Vee Jay transitioned to dedicated stereo labeling.
