Due to a printing error the words "High Fidelity" appear on the front cover. This album is being released because of its unarguable historical validity."
"The recordings on this album were made ... on a home tape recorder for the personal enjoyment and edification of a few of Bird's faithful fans and followers. The recordings, although suffering from lack of being technically recorded (there was no such thing as "hi-fi" in them days!) are priceless because of their content, capturing some of the magnificent moments in the blowing career of this musical genius, which, but for the sake of a second-hand Pentron [tape reorder] would be lost for all time."
