Monty's Guitars Full Monty Humbucker Pickups Open Black Set

Description

「Monty's Guitars」is a high-end pickup brand from London, UK. Founder Matt Gleeson thoroughly analyzed vintage pickups and reconstructed their tone for modern players, delivering exceptional performance across all genres. In addition to meticulously hand-winding each pickup, the brand also offers wiring kits using premium parts and natural fretboard care wax in its lineup.

Captivated by the brand's exceptional technical expertise in vintage pickup rewinding and restoration—a capability claimed by only a very few in the world—MION is the first authorized domestic retailer to take orders and officially sell Monty's Guitars pickups, and we are committed to further promoting and expanding sales of Monty's products.

The "Full Monty" was the first pickup Monty's ever created, and is the brand's flagship model featuring a significantly upgraded classic humbucker. Due to its practical field-ready specifications and excellent clarity, this is the model we most highly recommend.

A versatile pickup type that covers a wide range of sounds from sweet, bright clean tones to thick, heavy drive. Based on the design philosophy of vintage pickups, it is not an extremely high-output specification. With power output at a level that pushes the amp appropriately, it delivers sound without compromising the original character.

The 42-gauge wire and traditional coil-offset design ensure sparkling highs and excellent response. As a result, it maintains the responsiveness, clarity, and dynamics of a quality low-output humbucker while also incorporating the thickness and punch characteristic of high-output humbuckers.

This item is an open-type model in black color. For those seeking an appropriately vintage feel without being overly high-gain, or for those looking for a guitar that can use both single-coil and humbucker pickups in the field, we recommend this model.
