Description

「Eric Daw Custom Guitars (Eric Daw)」 is a high-end guitar pickup brand carefully handwound one by one in Idaho Falls, America. We were amazed to discover that new products offer the same depth and feel that could only be found in vintage guitars from the 1950s or pickups made by the legendary craftsman "Abigail Ibarra" who worked at Fender Custom Shop. This led MION to decide to carry Eric Daw products. We have assembled a diverse lineup of pickups so that customers can experience the authentic aroma of old-fashioned America without modern flavoring, directly from their amplifiers.

As the first domestic store to accept orders and officially sell Eric Daw pickups, we are committed to further promoting and selling Eric Daw products.

This is a "Custom Mini Humbucker" that we custom-ordered. It comes as a set of two mini humbuckers. This product was manufactured in 2025.

Eric Daw pickups are carefully crafted using only the finest selected materials to the highest possible standards. Rather than being made by trained workers or machines, all pickups are handwound using a direct-drive winding machine that was created by researching the winding machines used during the dawn of the electric guitar era in the 1950s.

As the wire is wound while being guided by hand, a coil pattern of "scatter winding (random winding)" is created that cannot be reproduced by machines. This is the secret behind the sound of vintage pickups that are still highly valued today.

We select and use only the finest American-made alnico magnets and enamel-coated magnet wire from the best available sources locally. The alnico pole pieces (magnetic poles) are hand-charged with magnetic force using our own custom magnetic charging device. There are no compromises made to reduce costs, as our goal is to create fully handmade boutique pickups aimed at achieving world-class sound quality.

These pickups would be suitable for vintage Les Paul Deluxe, Firebird, SG Special, and similar models. This model places emphasis on the textured quality of a dry, vintage tone.

Please take this opportunity to experience Eric Daw's vintage-modern approach as we propose it.
