The "SA-50" by YAMAHA, Japan's leading brand, is a masterpiece beloved by guitarists of many GS bands. It was produced during the dawn of Japanese electric guitars.

The SA-50 we have in stock this time comes in Alga Green color, with a weight of 3.37kg.

It features a double cutaway and a unique structure without a center block, employing a hollow curly maple body paired with a slightly thick 630mm scale maple neck and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. The block-style inlays are also characteristic. The zero fret and roller-type movable bridge are distinctive features as well. It is equipped with original humbucker pickups, and the controls include a 3-way selector, volume, tone, and a pickup balancer. The feather-touch tremolo unit, known for its smooth operation, adds character, and combined with the acoustic resonance, it delivers a pleasant vibrato sound.

This model is rare as it was produced only between 1967-74. It is a guitar crafted with YAMAHA's meticulous and advanced techniques, possessing an atmosphere and sound that cannot be achieved by modern guitars.

【Appearance & Condition】Besides oxidation of parts, there are scratch marks and other signs of use. There are cracks in the binding near both horns and warping in the pickguard. The previous owner's name and other information is written on both sides of the case interior pockets.
