Description
Squier by Fender CST-45 BLK/M 1983 JV Serial #JV58342
"JV Serial" refers to serial numbers beginning with the initials "JV" that were affixed to early Fender Japan products manufactured around 1982-1984. Manufactured with Fujigen's high technical capabilities of that era, many models of these "Japan Vintage" guitars are highly valued today, with quality that matches or even surpasses authentic USA-made instruments.
We have now received a 1983-manufactured Squier-branded JV Serial Stratocaster "CST-45 BLK/M". The neck pocket bears markings of "83", "7B", and "7CT". The weight is 3.55kg.
A 1970s-specification Stratocaster featuring an Alder or Ash body, contemporary headstock design, and a glimmering bullet-type adjusting rod. With a large headstock, 3-point joint, and refined proportions representative of American feeling, this model recreates the 1970s music scene. This is a rare instrument simply by virtue of being a JV Serial, and it's a no-nonsense black Squier with a specification that truly lets heavyweight guitarists shine. Upon arrival, the pots were not functioning, so we have replaced all pots at our shop. Don't miss this invaluable instrument ready for immediate use!!

・In the event that significant playing issues such as fret buzz, dead spots, or other defects are observed, we will always note them. In cases where no such notation is made, our shop determines there are no issues with playing condition.
・Unless explicitly noted as "Original" or "Replacement", we do not make definitive claims regarding specifications or condition.
・Regarding the truss rod, from a product preservation standpoint, we only check approximately 45 degrees in both the tightening and loosening directions. (When "Ample room" is noted, this indicates there is approximately 45 degrees of clearance in both directions.)
