The 2013 model of the Gibson "Les Paul Studio," a Gibson Les Paul Studio Gold Series that is popular with a wide range of players as a reasonably priced model, has arrived in stock! Vintage Sunburst color, weight is 3.94kg.

This studio model Gold Series realizes authentic Les Paul sound and luxurious gold hardware as an affordably priced American-made guitar. The studio keeps costs down by adopting a simple construction with no decorative elements such as binding. Wood composition features a maple top, mahogany back, mahogany neck, and granadillo fretboard.

The mahogany body with modern weight relief construction reduces physical strain even during long live performances, and the slim-feeling "60s Slim Taper" neck provides comfortable playability.

The pickups feature the standard humbucker combination "490R / 498T," which offers sound characteristics close to the "57 Classic" while slightly emphasizing the mid-high frequencies to achieve a more contemporary humbucker sound. The coil tap function via push/pull volume knobs is also equipped, allowing you to explore new sonic possibilities.

Despite being a cost-performance model with minimal decoration, it uses standard pickups and hardware alike, and I found the sound and playability of this studio preferable to recent regular lineup Les Paul Standard models.

Approximately 13 years have passed since manufacture, and the overall condition shows numerous scratches and wear marks from extensive use. The vintage character different from new instruments will also stand out well on stage. At 3.8kg, it's also light, and in terms of value for money, it's arguably one of Gibson's top-tier guitars.

The front tone knob has been replaced. The knob has cracks. A sticker indicating it was originally sold as an outlet product is affixed to the back plate.
