Gibson Les Paul Standard Wine Red 1995
Description
Gibson Les Paul Standard Wine Red 1995
The Gibson Les Paul Standard, a representative model of electric guitars that has left its mark in music history as Gibson's flagship model, manufactured in 1995 in Wine Red color, has arrived in stock. The weight is 4.58kg, which is quite heavy.
The mahogany neck with its exquisite grip that isn't too thick, combined with the dark-colored rosewood fretboard and high-quality mahogany body, are the points that make you feel this is from the popular early 1990s manufacturing period. It delivers solid, rock and powerful sound. The pot is also from 1994, and the pickups are covered humbuckers with "Gibson USA" stamped on the back. (Presumably the original "490R / 498T")
The tuning pegs are vintage-type Kluson. The knobs are speed type. 1990s Gibsons are popular, and this Standard is excellent too. For some unknown reason, they must have used good wood quality, though since it's rather heavy, those who can't tolerate the weight might end up dissatisfied.
The neck is a standard model that isn't too slim, and it truly sounds great. The dark red color that looks black at first glance is also easy to use and classic. We have performed fret crowning here, so the play condition is good and it will be ready for immediate use. Since there is impact damage around the 2F to 3F area on the neck side, we recommend it for those who don't mind small details.
The sound is completely different from current models, so if you're okay with a heavy guitar, we'd definitely like you to try this one. It appears to have been used quite a bit in live performances, as there are considerable scratches on both the sides and back, but you can feel the history of the previous owner in those marks, which is cool. A hardcore Les Paul with power and capable of handling a wide range of tones including sweet ones!
