The Gibson Custom Shop "Historic Collection" has become popular as a reproduction series of historically significant instruments. This time, we have received a 3-pickup, 1957 specifications "Les Paul Custom" in ebony color. Manufactured in 2000, weighing 4.13kg.

The Les Paul Custom, which serves as a synonym for rock guitars and captivates guitarists around the world, is an iconic instrument. The elegant form and the beauty of ebony and gold of this 1957 Les Paul Custom is one of the most symbolic and beautiful guitars among Gibson guitars.
Unique among Les Pauls, the all-mahogany body carved from a single large piece of mahogany produces a mid-range tone, and combined with the bright sound of the ebony fingerboard, this creates a unique sound characteristic of custom guitars from this era.

The neck shape features a thick C-shape that is easy to grip. As with the original specifications, a long tenon design is employed, providing excellent sustain.
Hardware such as Schaller tuners (which have been modified) are unified in gold color, and combined with the ebony color of the body, this achieves the overwhelming look known as "Black Beauty."

All pickups have been changed. Originally, the standard "57 Classic" humbucker pickups would be installed, but this model features three Seymour Duncan SH4 pickups in white color. This is the most popular model among Duncan pickups, with high output that pushes the amp and delivers many overtones.

The 3-pickup 57 Les Paul Custom was not produced in large quantities, and since it was manufactured in 2000, a year particularly popular among Gibson fans, this is a rare instrument!
It has been played appropriately, and this gives it a refined presence that looks very cool. The play condition is outstanding. You may replace the pickups with your preferred ones, or you can enjoy a full hard rock sound as it is. Rare for a Custom at only 4.13kg, it is highly recommended for stage use as well!
