Recreating the 1954 specification using standard wood materials. According to Fender Japan's catalog from this period, this model's body uses Lightweight Ash, the fretboard is Maple 21F, and the neck is V-shaped Maple. Controls are simple: 1VOL / 2TONE (front and center) with a 5-way selector. The rear tone control is non-functional.
All pickups have been upgraded to Fender Custom Shop models. Besides the Custom Shop sticker on the back, there are no other markings, so the exact model name and pickup part numbers are unknown.
Available in an easy-to-use Sunburst color with excellent sound and appearance. This is a model aimed at the universally beloved Stratocaster.
