Fender 25th Anniversary Stratocaster MN 1979
We have received an Anniversary Stratocaster commemorating the 25th anniversary since Stratocaster production began in 1954. This model is notable for its distinctive coloring and the "ANNIVERSARY" decal near the 6-string side horn on the body. Manufactured in 1979, it weighs 3.53kg.
It features an ash body characteristic of this era and a maple one-piece neck. The specifications characteristic of the period are evident, including an approximately 41mm nut width, large headstock, two wing-shaped string guides, tuning pegs with black washers, and a synchronized tremolo bridge with a die-cast saddle.
The four-point bolt-on construction using a special joint plate is also noteworthy. The pickup date with gray bottoms also dates to the original 1979 manufacture. The electronics are likely all original as well.
The neck date stamped on the neck end (guitars from 1972 onwards have an 8-digit number stamped) reads "0902 1991".

It possesses a different sound character from Stratocasters currently on the market—a wide-range tone that covers a broad frequency spectrum characteristic of that era, with clear, articulate sound. Perfect for those who love 70s Strats. With the tautness inherent to a maple fingerboard and a glittery, cutting attack, the texture is excellent for aggressive cutting and rock playing.
Personally, I also think this silver color—or rather, this slightly thin green metallic color—is unique and cool. As is common with Fenders from this period, the finish has changed with age, so the back of the body and horn areas have a grainy texture. Many people actually like this. With many distinctive features even among 70s models, this is an interesting Strat that's worth having in your collection.

【Appearance & Condition】In addition to dull parts, there are scratches, dents, and wear on the fingerboard sides, with overall signs of use throughout. None of these affect playability.
