Description

Ichiyanagi Guitar Workshop, located in Aichi Prefecture, is run by parent and child luthiers Kazuo and Kunihiko Ichiyanagi who dedicate themselves to classical guitar making. Characterized by a bright, transparent, and refined tone, they craft top-class guitars in Japan using precise woodworking techniques studied from renowned instruments such as those by Manuel Ramírez and Romanillos.

The instrument we have in stock this time is a "No. 30" from 1987.
The label reads "SH30," but the details are unclear.

This model primarily features a spruce solid top, rosewood for sides and back, mahogany for the neck, and ebony for the fingerboard as the standard specification. (Please note that the wood materials may vary depending on the individual instrument.)

The nut width is approximately 52mm, and the scale is approximately 650mm. The greatest characteristic is its easy playability with clear tone, combining bright treble response and deep bass resonance. The low-mid range in particular resonates deeply with substantial sound pressure, giving the impression of an instrument well-suited to solo performance.

As it was made in the 1980s, the tone is indeed different from modern classical guitars. It must be made with quality materials. It provides comfort both to the player and to the listener.

【Appearance & Condition】Apart from dulling of parts, there are visible signs of use from wear and scratches. There is some rust on the peg screws. There are no particular issues with operation.
