YAMAHA The FG 2002
Description
YAMAHA The FG 2002
Since its debut in 1966, the early FG series, commonly known as the "red label," continues to be spoken of as a legendary instrument even after more than 45 years. "The FG" was created by inheriting its basic design and incorporating all of Yamaha's extensive guitar-making expertise and the latest technology.
What arrived this time is a 2002 model "The FG".
It inherits the basic design of Yamaha's legendary red label "FG-180" and was constructed with all-solid specifications, bringing together the woodworking and finishing techniques of that era.
The top is constructed from spruce solid wood, with the sides and back made from mahogany solid wood. Additionally, it features original open-gear type tuning pegs, delivering a rich resonance.
The remarkably lightweight all-solid body characteristic of this series' top-of-the-line model reaches hand guitar standards. Once you play it, you will be overwhelmed by the responsiveness of its sound. From wood binding to every detail of the parts, the craftsmanship reveals its true value the more it is played.
This is the standard of Japanese-made folk guitars.
