Martin Custom D-1 JP 2001
Description
Martin Custom D-1 JP 2001
Among the many Martin models, the popular "Custom D-1" model, known for its excellent cost performance, from 2001 has arrived in stock. This model features "CTM JP" notation on the warranty certificate from that time, and "CUSTOM" marking inside the body, indicating it was a custom model sold exclusively for the Japanese market during that period.
Fundamentally, the "D-1" is characterized by excellent cost performance despite its low price point, featuring all solid wood construction and A-frame X-bracing structure adoption. (Although the custom model apparently underwent various specification changes, as we do not have documentation from that time, we ask for your understanding that it is difficult to definitively state what changes were made.)
This "D-1" features a solid Sitka spruce top with mahogany back and sides, delivering a powerful yet delicate tone that is comparable to higher-end models, allowing you to enjoy authentic Martin sound. Other specifications are presumably a mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and bridge. The specifications include a 14F joint, 43mm nut, and tortoiseshell-pattern pickguard.
The fine accents throughout the appearance are not overlooked, making this an instrument where you can experience quality that exceeds its price point.

・Unless explicitly marked as "Original" or "Replaced," we do not make definitive statements regarding specifications or condition in our store.
・Regarding the truss rod, from a product protection standpoint, we only check approximately 45 degrees in both the tightening and loosening directions. (When marked as "Ample room," this indicates there is approximately 45 degrees of clearance in both directions.)
