Since its release in 1942, the Gibson "J-45" has supported players around the world for 80 years. It is the representative model of Gibson acoustic guitars that continues to be loved across time.
This time, we have the classic "J-45" in Vintage Sunburst color in stock! It is a 2002 model.
The "J-45" from this period features Kluson tuning pegs and adopts a standard non-adjustable bridge. The jack is equipped for electro-acoustic specifications, and there is no preamp or anything in the sound hole, making it easy to install your preferred pickup system later. We believe this consideration was made with that in mind.
While inheriting the bloodline of vintage models, it also incorporates modern stability and precision, resulting in an instrument that is easy to handle and delivers high-quality sound. The tone is somewhat delicate and clear. It is ideal for those seeking a pure acoustic sound.
Our shop has replaced the nut and dressed the frets, so the playing condition is excellent. The string height is also standard.
Gibson acoustics from the 2000s have a different sound character compared to current models. We believe this is largely due to approximately 25 years of aging, but this is an instrument that produces excellent tone. The J-45 sound beloved by many artists is a privilege that can only be obtained from a J-45.
