For 80 years since its release in 1942, the Gibson "J-45" has supported players around the world. It is the representative model of Gibson acoustics that continues to be loved across time.

This time, a special variation model of the classic "J-45," the "J-45 Rosewood," has arrived in stock! It is a 2007 model.

While the standard "J-45" uses mahogany for the sides and back, this model features rosewood. It comes with gold-colored pegs and employs a standard bridge rather than an adjustable one. The jack is equipped with an electro-acoustic setup, and since there is a volume control at the sound hole, this is believed to be the "L.R.Baggs Element."

While inheriting the bloodline of vintage instruments, it also incorporates modern stability and precision, resulting in an easy-to-play instrument with high sound quality. The tone is somewhat delicate and clear. It is ideal for those seeking a pure acoustic sound.

Gibson acoustics from the 2000s have a different sound character compared to current models. I believe this is largely due to the 20 years that have passed, but it is an instrument that delivers good tone. While the warm sound of mahogany is attractive, the rosewood version is more brilliant, and the high notes from chord strokes are pleasantly crisp. It also exudes elegance in appearance.

We have replaced the nut and dressed the frets at our shop, so it is ready for immediate use!
