Baccarola

German label

Label Code: LC 0124 / LC 00124

Previously owned by Ariola Eurodisc GmbH, now owned by Sony Music Entertainment Germany GmbH.

The literal suffixes denotes a price code, exemplary from the Ariola Gesamtverzeichnis 1961/62:

U - 2,85 DM - 17cm (7") common colored jacket - 'Normalspielplatte'

V - 3,95 DM - 17cm (7") 4 color special jacket - 'Langspielplatte'

W - 5,85 DM - 17cm (7") Walt Disney releases, 4 colored jacket, 5 colored booklet - 'Langspielplatte'

Z - 5,00 DM - 17cm (7") special series with 4 colored jacket - 'Langspielplatte'

When Ariola denotes this as an LP it is more in the sense what we used to mention as an EP > extended play.
