This early pressing was pressed by Wakefield Manufacturing, which specialized in limited quantity high-quality pressings (see Wakefield Manufacturing ). They are translucent (hold up to a light and you can see through it)
These would become more commonly known as "Quiex" pressings, as discussed here
Promo copies of Season of Glass (with a gold stamp on the jacket) were most often this Wakefield pressing, hence the "Special Edition" tag, rather than stating it as a promo (the labels are the same as stock copies).
Runouts are etched with STERLING and Wakefield W over M logo stamped.
