There are two identically named and similar looking versions of the Nakamichi High-Com II decoder unit: One of them has a dedicated "Disk" setting, the other has a combined "Subsonic + MPX" setting instead - on the later unit, the record needs to be played back through the "Rec" setting of a connected tape deck.
