Toshiba/EMI Japan issued this Euro-Dutch compilation 1978 as part of Japan's "Country Flag" obi/ EAS re-issue series of the Beatles Japanese LP catalog which began in 1976. This is title n° 32 in the series, with Netherlands/Dutch flag obi. It's a re-issue of the Odeon release "Beatles Greatest" compilation, originally released there June 1965. Recording notes: -Pressed from a copy of a Dutch master, as identified by the matrix stamp, true stereo. -She Loves You A7 is fake stereo -I Feel Fine B1 is true stereo with the "whispering" intro. -All My Loving B8 has the hi-hat intro. Packaging notes: -Includes Japanse-English bio-lyric sheet insert -Disc comes with clear rice-paper inner sleeve. -Some copies imported to North America may have come with an "imported Japan" Capitol-EMI sticker that sealed the outer plastic sleeve (see photo) -Black & silver Odeon. Manufactured by Toshiba-EMI, Ltd., Japan. Runouts stamped: Side A: "8 - 3" upside down
