This repress differs from the 1975 pressing Come Taste The Band as follows:

The record labels are lighter in colour (almost pink) and the type is not as sharp as that on earlier pressings.

The US matrix is etched in the runout, with the UK matrix stamped. 'THE WASP' is etched on side 1 runout. 'KENDUN-A-' is stamped on both sides in the runout.

The outer sleeve has a gloss finish (similar to other Deep Purple reissues from the mid 80's following their reformation) and is printed on cream card. The first press sleeve was fully laminated and printed on beige card.

The printed lyric inner has four rounded corners. The first press inner sleeve has three cut corners.
