Description

「Monty's Guitars」 is a high-end pickup brand from London, UK. Founder 「Matt Gleeson」 thoroughly analyzed vintage pickups and reconstructed their tone for modern players, delivering the best performance across all genres. Not only are they carefully hand-wound one by one, but the lineup also includes wiring kits made with premium parts and natural fretboard care wax.

MION, captivated by the high technical skill evident in vintage pickup rewinding and restoration—something said to be extremely rare worldwide—operates as Japan's first authorized dealer to receive orders and officially sell Monty's Guitars pickups, and will continue to work toward greater promotion and sales of Monty's products.

「Full Monty」 is the first pickup Monty's ever manufactured and the brand's flagship model, a significant power upgrade to classic humbuckers. Due to its practical field specifications and excellent clarity, it is the model our shop most highly recommends.

A versatile type covering a wide range of sounds from sweet, bright clean tones to heavy drive. Based on vintage pickup design philosophy, it is not an extremely high-output specification. With power that moderately pushes the amp's character, it outputs sound without crushing the original tone.

Using 42-gauge wire and traditional coil offset design, it ensures sparkling high frequencies and excellent response. As a result, it maintains the reaction, clarity, and dynamics of quality low-output humbuckers while also combining the thickness and punch of high-output humbuckers.

This product is a semi-ordered 「Raw Nickel」 cover type with a subtle, muted luster. It finishes with an appearance that matches relic'd guitars. For those seeking appropriate vintage character without excessive high-gain, or for those looking for a guitar that can handle both single-coil and humbucker sounds on stage, please choose this option.
