「Eric Daw Custom Guitars」 is a high-end guitar pickup brand carefully handwound one by one in Idaho Falls, America. We were amazed to discover that new products can deliver the depth and feel that should only come from vintage guitars from the 1950s or pickups created by the legendary craftsman "Abigail Ibarra" who worked at Fender Custom Shop, and MION has decided to handle Eric Daw products as a result. Without modern seasoning, we have assembled a diverse lineup of pickups so that customers can experience the smell of old-fashioned America directly from their amplifiers.
As the first domestic store to accept custom orders and officially sell Eric Daw pickups, we will continue to work harder to promote and sell Eric Daw products.
This is the "T" Style that our store custom-ordered. It comes as a set of two single-coil pickups for Telecaster. This product was completed on February 21, 2025.
Eric Daw pickups are carefully crafted using the finest selected materials and the highest standards possible. They are not made by trained workers or machines, but rather by hand-winding using a direct-drive winding machine that was created by researching winding machines used during the dawn of electric guitar in the 1950s.
As the wire is wound while being guided by hand, a coil pattern of "scatter winding (random winding)" is created that cannot be reproduced by machines. This is the secret to the sound of vintage pickups that are still highly valued today.
The finest quality American alnico magnets and enamel-coated magnet wire are all selected from the best available locally. The alnico pole pieces (magnetic poles) are manually magnetized using a custom-made magnetic charging device. There are no compromises to reduce costs, and the goal is to create completely handmade boutique pickups aimed at the world's highest class sound.
This bridge pickup is intentionally made slightly microphonic (picks up sound easily like a microphone), so it is not suitable for high-gain settings. It is a model that values the texture of aged, vintage tone.
