A Yamaha TransAcoustic guitar that allows you to enjoy reverb and chorus effects on the guitar's natural sound without using an amplifier or external effects processor, offering an unprecedented playing experience.
This time we have in stock the 2017 model "FS-TA". A model featuring a compact "FS" body and a shorter scale length that delivers exceptional playability.
The top is solid spruce, with mahogany sides and back. It also features new scalloped bracing for a rich resonant tone.
Equipped with Yamaha's proprietary "TransAcoustic" technology that combines digital functionality with acoustic sound production. String vibrations converted to electrical signals are sent to an actuator installed inside the back plate with effects applied, converting reverb and chorus effect signals into vibrations transmitted throughout the entire guitar body. This makes it possible to produce effects sound from the guitar itself without connecting to an amplifier or speaker. Of course, it can also be connected to an amplifier.
This is an affordable F-series model.
