MION is a shop recognized by Taylor Japan that employs an "Independent Repairman" — one of only a few such technicians in Japan. In addition to receiving after-sales care such as repairs and maintenance after purchase, we accept Taylor guitars even after their warranty period has expired when brought directly to our shop. We are committed to further expanding our sales of new Taylor guitars while providing this level of support.

This "417e-R" is a single instrument that was carefully selected and brought in after comparison with higher-end models by our "Independent Repairman" who knows Taylor guitars inside and out, along with our staff. It features the "Grand Pacific (GP)" body size with an overall larger body size and wider waist, and its appeal lies in the clear and dynamic sound produced by rosewood.
Compared to the GA size, which is popular among Taylor models, this combination of GP size, non-cutaway design, and traditional tonewoods results in a richer low-end response and more balanced resonance.
When compared to models like the 414ce and 314ce, we are struck by how completely different the response is. Of course, in addition to comfortable playability, the 400 Series' signature sunburst coloring is also wonderful.
The newly developed V-Class bracing structure expands dynamic range and sustain, resulting in greater expressive capability. The pickup system is equipped with the "ES2 Expression System II." With the piezo contacting the side of the saddle rather than underneath it, it produces a clear sound free from compression artifacts.
The revolutionary bolt-on neck construction for an acoustic guitar achieves high precision and excellent maintainability. The neck shape, which greatly impacts "playability," is manufactured with stable quality through computer control.
When Sitka Spruce and Rosewood are combined with the 417e-R's Grand Pacific body, the result is a remarkably powerful and spacious acoustic sound.
