MION is a shop recognized by Taylor Japan that employs an "Independent Repairman"—a position held by only a handful of people in Japan. In addition to receiving after-sales care such as repairs and maintenance after purchase, we also serve as a shop where you can bring your Taylor guitars directly to our store even after the warranty period expires. We are committed to further expanding our sales of new Taylor guitars.
We have also begun accepting Custom Select Program (semi-custom) orders. For details, please contact our store via email.
A Taylor-authorized expert will support you.
The "322e Mahogany V-Class" is an all-mahogany model featuring mahogany on the top, sides, and back. Its greatest features are the woody attack feel and sweet tone that are most valued by fingerstyle players.
Regarding why we chose to stock the "322e" after carefully comparing it with many higher-end models such as the 800 series and 600 series: the GC size offers more waist curve definition compared to the more popular GA size at Taylor, which we felt brings out a more rustic tone and better showcases the mahogany's midrange resonance. Additionally, the slightly smaller size makes handling more convenient.
The sparkly, brilliantly bright high-frequency characteristics typical of Taylor guitars become milder with the all-mahogany construction, which is wonderful. The exquisite nuance when played with fingernails and the clear expression of dynamic range result in a very pleasant tone.
Compared to models like the 414ce and 314ce, we are amazed at how completely different the high-frequency output and response are.
Beyond comfortable playability, the design is captivating with its attention to detail, including a black pickguard and black-colored tuners. Additionally, because this model lacks a cutaway, you can enjoy an even woodier resonance at home.
Of course, the newly developed V-Class bracing structure enhances expressiveness, and the all-satin finish coating reflects the manufacturer's commitment to detail. Through a special coating process, the top and sides have equal finish thickness while only the back plate features a thin matte finish, making it ideal for strong picking and chord strokes. This model strikes the right balance—ideal for fingerpicking-focused guitarists and solo guitarists—with just the right presence of low frequencies while still effectively bringing out the tone of chord strokes played with a pick.
The pickup system features the "ES2 Expression System II." With the piezo contacting the side of the saddle rather than underneath it, it delivers a clear sound without compression artifacts.
The innovative bolt-on neck construction for an acoustic guitar achieves high precision and excellent maintainability. The neck shape, which greatly influences "playability," is manufactured with consistent quality through computer control.
Regarding Taylor guitars, our shop offers after-sales care support including pickup changes, adjustments, and consultations. You can bring them directly to our store, so please purchase with confidence. (Exchanges and repairs are subject to paid service.)
We are committed to supporting your long-term enjoyment of Taylor products. We would be delighted if you would take this opportunity to purchase Taylor products from MION.
