The "224ce-Koa DLX ES2" is an all-koa model featuring a solid Hawaiian Koa top and layered Hawaiian Koa on the sides and back. Additionally, it comes equipped with gold hardware and features "Deluxe" specifications as an upgrade from the 200 Series, with the case upgraded to a hardshell case.
It adopts the most popular Grand Auditorium (GA) shape, solid koa top, layered koa sides & back, sapele neck, and ebony fretboard & bridge. The gloss finish is also appealing, showcasing the exotic grain patterns that change appearance depending on the angle.
The pickup system features the "ES2 Expression System II," the same as found in Taylor's higher-end models. With the piezo positioned on the side of the saddle rather than beneath it, it produces a clear sound free from compression. The vibrations of the entire body can be faithfully expressed on stage.
"Hawaiian Koa" is a popular and rare material used not only in musical instruments but also in interior design. You can enjoy its unique rich low frequencies, soaring high frequencies and harmonic spread, and most importantly, the brown striations and vibrant grain patterns in your own home.
Regarding Taylor guitars, our shop provides after-care support including pickup modifications, adjustments, and consultations. You can also bring instruments directly to our store, so please purchase with confidence. (Exchanges and repairs are subject to a fee.)
