We have just received a 2015 BT2e (Baby Taylor-e Mahogany). This is from the popular Baby Taylor series, known for its charming looks and compact size.
In addition to excellent portability and ease of transport, the neck is bolted to the fingerboard, making it possible to remove the neck. The design allows for easy truss rod and action adjustments—a truly unique specification.
Furthermore, since there is no heel on the neck joint, playability in high positions is excellent, making this a popular acoustic guitar that we can recommend to women, those with smaller hands, and children.
The body back is arch-braced, ensuring sufficient acoustic resonance. Even light fingerpicking at home will produce a pleasant acoustic sound.
Additionally, as indicated by the "e" in the model number, this guitar is equipped with a pickup, making it suitable for stage use.
※For those not planning to use this on stage or who do not intend to play at high volume through an amplifier, we recommend the pickup-free "BT2 (Baby Taylor Mahogany)" rather than this "e" equipped model.
The body uses tropical mahogany for the top and layered sapele for the back and sides. The neck is maple, and the fingerboard and bridge are made of ebony, a premium tone wood. A lightweight gig bag is included.
