HISTORY ASH-J/Adirondack 2022
Description
HISTORY ASH-J/Adirondack 2022
HISTORY (History), a domestic guitar & bass brand handled by Shimamura Gakki.
This time we've received the model "ASH-J/Adirondack," which combines superior sound and traditional looks with HISTORY's ease of playability! Manufactured in 2022, the color is Vintage Sunburst.
Inspired by legendary instruments of the past, mixed with advanced and modern technology. The "Another Story HISTORY (ASH)" series offers a slightly different character from standard HISTORY models.
This model uses "rare wood" suitable for acoustic guitars. Carefully crafted in domestic factories, it incorporates the playability that HISTORY has been highly regarded for throughout its design.
The body top uses Adirondack Spruce, considered the finest spruce for acoustic guitar construction. Further enhanced through special heat treatment (Trifide processing) for increased strength and stability. This minimizes "expansion and contraction" caused by climate and humidity changes in the external environment.
Nitrocellulose lacquer is used throughout all finishing processes, creating an ultra-thin coating so delicate you can feel the subtle texture of the wood surface with your fingertips. The coating minimizes interference with the wood's resonance, resulting in richer body resonance and overtones. You can also enjoy the character development that comes with extended use.
The neck features a soft V-shape in the low positions to accommodate chord work, and a U-shape in the high positions to support technical fingering. The seamless transition from the nut side to the body side achieves high playability.
The neck-to-body connection is reinforced with a structure that prevents neck rise or drop-off, improving the integration between neck and body. Vibrations transmit more easily, producing a sound with excellent attack and sustain.
Equipped with Fishman-made pickups, which are renowned for their balanced sound quality and frequency response. Volume and tone controls are mounted above the sound hole for excellent operability during live performances and recording sessions.
