Description

The history of the "Mosrite Ventures Model" began in 1963, and it remains a standard model beloved by many artists to this day, despite undergoing various specification changes. It has been used not only in surf music but also in punk rock, and has been favored by numerous guitarists including The Ventures, The Ramones, Takeshi Terauchi, and Yuzo Kayama.

This time we have received a Mosrite in pearl white, believed to be manufactured by Black Cloud. The weight is 3.67kg.

Set-neck construction, symbolic of the '63 specification. The headstock features "The Ventures Model" logo, and the tremolo reads "VIBRAMUTE". The output jack is on the side, and it is equipped with "3000F" and "3000R" pickups. The logo is not on the pickups. Additionally, the Kluson-type tuners have "mosrite" inscribed in small lettering.

With its slender neck, narrow metal nut, and 0 fret—familiar specifications—this is an instrument where you can truly feel the excellence of Mosrite. The high-output pickups deliver the distinctive, powerful Mosrite sound.

The matching headstock appearance is excellent, and the color is quite stylish. Sound-wise, it delivers outstanding Mosrite tone, and it is a well-made model with great value for money.

【Appearance & Condition】There are visible signs of use including minor scratches, dulling of parts, dents, abrasions and paint chips on the body and back of neck, and paint cracks near the neck joint. There is a possibility that knobs and other parts have been replaced.
