Mosrite Mark V 1966 Sunburst #5064

$7,014.00

Description

The "Mosrite Mark V" that debuted in 1966 is an extremely rare masterpiece that inherits the essence of the "Mark I (Ventures Model)," a standard top-tier model, while aiming for a lower price point as a student model.
It was introduced for students and young people during the peak of Ventures popularity, but production numbers were far fewer than the Mark I, and its rarity value in the vintage market has increased.

This time, we have received a vintage Mosrite "Mark V" from 1966 in sunburst color. The weight is 3.08kg.

The neck pocket has a stamp reading "1966 FEB 1," and the body side reads "1966 MAR 3." The marking on the fingerboard end is worn and unreadable, but appears to be "5064."

The headstock features a small "Mark V" logo. It is equipped with a single-coil pickup covered with a "flat black plastic cover" with no pole piece holes, featuring a flat bass wood or poplar body. It comes with Kluson Deluxe tuning pegs, with knobs marked with an "M." The tremolo reads "Moseley."

We have performed a refret on this instrument, so you can enjoy the vintage Mosrite sound with a playability like new. The bridge pickup spring has been changed, but we have not replaced any electrical components, so the pot remains from the original 1966 manufacture.

With familiar specifications, this is a precious piece that allows you to fully experience Mosrite's greatest charm: the "narrow and extremely thin neck shape" and the allure of the zero fret.
Don't miss this opportunity.
