Description

The UV777, a 7-string guitar from the Universe series that returned to Ibanez's catalog models starting in 1998 and ended production in 2012. The "UV777P," created through a collaboration between Ibanez and Steve Vai during the production of "Passion and Warfare," became popular as Steve Vai's signature model.

This time, we have received the "UV777P BK" in black color, manufactured in 1998. The weight is 3.7kg.

Luxurious specifications have been adopted, including full binding on the body and neck, disappearing pyramid fingerboard inlays, and a special pyramid logo called "Light Without Heat" on the back of the bridge.

In terms of specifications, the "UV777P" underwent several changes during its production period.

2003: Tremolo unit changed from "Lo Pro Edge 7" to the newly developed "Edge Pro 7."
2005: Neck structure changed to 5-piece neck, similar to many Japanese-made models.
2010: Tremolo unit changed back to "Lo Pro Edge 7."

The specifications have been carefully designed with high attention to detail on points that could cause stress during technical playing, such as the joint, to maximize playability. You'd love to use this with wah and play through a Fire Garden album.
