HISTORY HST-Standard (HST-S-R-3S) DLB 2021
Description
HISTORY HST-Standard (HST-S-R-3S) DLB 2021
HISTORY (History), a domestic guitar & bass brand handled by Shimamura Gakki.
This time we have in stock the ST-type "HST-Standard (HST-S-R-3S)" from the "HISTORY Standard" series, which combines the comfort of playing with traditional design and sound that matches the modern music scene! Manufactured in 2021, the color is DLB, weighing 3.47kg, and it was purchased new in 2023.
A model that incorporates HISTORY's unique evolution into a traditional styling. The clear and powerful tone with consistent articulation makes it an easy-to-play instrument not only for band ensembles but also for beginners.
The Seamless Soft VU-shaped neck with Smooth Grip finish features a grip shape that transitions seamlessly from low position to high position, changing from a soft V-shape suitable for chord playing to a U-shape suitable for single-note picking. After applying a gloss finish, micro-scratches are applied with a unique process to provide a non-slip effect, delivering comfortable playability with a neck grip that doesn't feel sticky even when sweating.
The newly designed heel cut shape further improves playability in the high position. An original joint plate with the palm contact area rounded is used. It transmits the powerful string vibration of the bass strings fully to the body.
The pickups are an original model designed with consistent tone grains for ease of playing while also considering the feel with amps and effects. The pole pieces employ Alnico 5 magnets, and the wiring is set to slightly increase output with an average resistance value of 12.5kΩ.
It features a "Humbucker Mode Blender." When the pickup selector is set to front (or rear), gradually turning the blender knob (see control diagram) toward 1 gradually changes the sound to humbucker tone. It's possible to express not only normal single-coil sound but also the powerful sound of a humbucker on a single guitar.
Special order GOTOH side-hole type tuning pegs, durable bone nut with stable tuning, Nord-Lock washers to prevent jack loosening, and other hardware details result in a versatile Stratocaster-type that can be used in any genre. With minimal signs of use, it's recommended as your first guitar!

• Regarding the truss rod, from a product protection standpoint, we only check approximately 45 degrees in both the tightening and loosening directions. (The notation "adequate clearance" indicates there is approximately 45 degrees of clearance in both directions)
