Gretsch 6120 1991
Description
Gretsch 6120 1991
The "Gretsch" guitar has long been beloved as a standard instrument in country music for its light and brilliant sound. Combined with its retro and gorgeous looks, it has also become a "symbol of rock and roll."
The representative model of this long-established Gretsch, the "6120," has arrived in stock. Manufactured in 1991, it weighs approximately 3.82kg.
Co-designed with Chet Atkins, the venerable 6120 is a model that produces the most widely recognized Gretsch-specific rock and roll sound. The rich harmonic content drives the sound when plugged into a vacuum tube amp while outputting a glossy tone.
The tension and playability unique to this Bigsby-equipped model are also excellent.
The laminated maple body with a width of 16 inches and moderate thickness features the standard F-holes. The controls feature an orthodox configuration: 2 volumes, master volume, tone, and pickup selector.
With an ebony fingerboard and maple neck—a classic combination—equipped with Filter'tron pickups, this is a guitar packed with the charm of Gretsch before it came under Fender's umbrella! We have replaced the bridge with a new one here, and have not otherwise made any replacements in our shop.
The nice orange color with a Brian Setzer feel will look great on any stage!!

・If the instrument exhibits buzzing, choking, or other issues that significantly impair playability, we will always note this. In the absence of such notation, we determine that there are no issues with the play condition in our shop.
・In cases where "Original" or "Replacement" and similar details are not explicitly stated, we do not make definitive judgments regarding specifications or condition.
・Regarding the truss rod, from a product protection standpoint, we only check approximately 45 degrees in both the tightening and loosening directions. (When "adequate clearance" is noted, it indicates there is approximately 45 degrees of clearance in both directions.)
