The Gibson "SG," a standard model beloved by current generations including Angus Young and modern slide god Derek Trucks, is widely recognized as a rock icon.

This time we've received a 1996 "SG Standard." It weighs 2.97kg. It features an ebony color that exudes a hardcore aesthetic.

The guitar features a mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, a large pickguard specification symbolic of the mid-to-late 1960s, a mahogany body, and classic material construction, with Kluson-style tuners. The pickups are original humbuckers (490R & 498T in the original specification) with "Gibson USA" stamped on the back, with standard controls of 2 volume and 2 tone. The pots and other components also appear to be original period pieces with logos.

In 2003 it was changed to a Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge, but the ABR-1 bridge specification with retainers from this period is a welcome point for vintage style enthusiasts. The neck shape features a taper, and is characterized by a thicker profile from around the 7th fret into the higher positions.

This SG offers high-position playability and body lightness that the Les Paul doesn't have, making it a ready-to-use instrument for both stage and recording.

【Appearance & Condition】The entire body and back have small scratches and dents throughout, with large scrapes on the back corners. None of these affect playability or function.
