A Gibson "Les Paul Classic" with 60s slim neck specifications that strongly emphasizes a return to vintage aesthetics. This time we've received a truly rare vintage sunburst color model! Manufactured in 2004, weighing approximately 4.03kg.

True to its "Classic" name, it follows traditional specifications. Mahogany back with plain maple top, slim taper mahogany neck inspired by 1960s Les Pauls, and a dark rosewood fretboard—employing the wood materials of the golden age Les Paul. Equipped with Kluson-type tuners. The inlays have turned quite yellow, giving it an impressive patina. The pickguard engraved with "1960" is also a distinctive feature.

The wiring and pickups appear to be original, featuring black open-type humbuckers with "Gibson USA" and "T" engravings on the back. (Original pickups from this period are "496R/500T") They have likely never been replaced.

Up to this point it's a standard Classic, but this guitar has a headstock break repair history. As the break extended through the veneer, we performed the repair in-house. The volute area and other sections have also been corrected, so currently there are no performance issues and it can be used normally. Additionally, the frets have been dressed, so playability is excellent.

The Classic is popular among hard/heavy-oriented guitarists for its playability thanks to the slim neck. With its subdued, rare color finish, it can be used hard on stage or in the studio without worrying about scratches. The tone was also good. Due to the neck break history, we've priced it lower than a standard Classic, making it recommended for those who don't mind minor details. Conversely, if you do mind, please refrain from purchasing.
