Description
Fender Japan TL68-75BC ABD (BECK KOYUKI TELECASTER) 2004
The manga "BECK" by Harold Sakuishi, which remains beloved as a pinnacle work in the band manga genre. Through a collaboration with Fender Japan, the model "TL68-75BC ABD (TL68-BECK)" has arrived, reproducing the Telecaster beloved by the protagonist Koyuki (Yukio Tanaka). The weight is 3.97kg.
This is a Telecaster with Q serial "Crafted in Japan" marking, manufactured in 2004. Assembled at Dyna Musical Instruments with outsourced manufacturing, it maintains stable quality and high cost-performance while realizing modern playing performance adaptable to various styles.
The back of the headstock features "Mongolian Chop Squad" marking and a dog logo. It features an Antique Blonde ash body with semi-matte finish showing a well-used appearance, maple neck, and rosewood fretboard with 21F.
The pickups are USA "TL-VINTAGE," and the machine head is equipped with Schaller F-key, faithfully reproducing the distinctive Telecaster sound and vintage tone.
This is quite a good Telecaster for fans, and due to its considerable popularity, it has been sold for a long time under different model numbers such as "TL68-83BC." There were also Mustang models. The specifications are orthodox, making it easy to use.
The serialization of the new work "THE BAND" has started, but interestingly, that one uses a KAWAI Moonsault. It's quite interesting. With popularity overseas and prices rising, let's go with this classic Telecaster for now. For being 20 years old, it's quite clean with no noticeable scratches.
