A 1990s Fender Japan Stratocaster with 70s specifications, the "ST72-75 NAT," has arrived in stock! The weight is 3.83kg, and the color is Natural.
This is a "Made in Japan" model with an O-series serial number, manufactured and assembled by Fuji Gen between 1993 and 1994. The neck pocket features a date marking of '93 and "ST-72 NAT." While maintaining stable quality and excellent cost-performance, it achieves contemporary playability that adapts to various styles.
Reproducing 1970s specifications using standard wood materials. According to Fender Japan catalogs from this period, the 70s Stratocaster in Natural color was available only as the "ST72-75." It features a Sen body, Maple fretboard with 21 frets, and Maple neck. Controls are simple: 1 VOL / 2 TONE (front and center) with a 5-way selector. There is no tone control for the rear pickup. The tuning pegs are GOTOH brand.
Equipped with USA-made "ST-CURRENT" pickups. Featuring characteristics distinctive to the 1970s such as a large headstock, bullet nut, and 3-point neck joint, with its distinctive Natural color, both the sound and looks are outstanding. This is a model aimed at the universally beloved Stratocaster.
The tone is excellent, and many players are very fond of this Fuji Gen-era 70s-specification Stratocaster. While there are minor paint chips, the overall condition is clean and good, and combined with the USA pickup, this is a highly recommended instrument.
