Description
Fender Japan ST57-65 AS 2TS 1994 (40th Anniversary Model) #S018905
The Fender Japan Stratocaster 40th Anniversary model "ST57-65 AS" has arrived in stock, released in limited quantities in 1994. The color is Two-Tone Sunburst, and the weight is 3.56kg.
With the S serial number and "MADE IN JAPAN" marking, it was manufactured in 1994. Fender Japan products from this period were assembled and manufactured by Fujigen, maintaining stable quality and excellent cost performance while realizing contemporary playability that adapts to various styles.
This model was created based on the 1957 Stratocaster, and the luxuriously-looking neck features a technique called "Foto Flame," which applies AA-grade flame maple finish over a maple neck. It is listed in the catalog as "a print finish applying gravure printing technology (intaglio printing)." The logo is applied on the back of the headstock.
Other specifications include an alder body, 7.25R, small headstock with spaghetti logo, and white 1-ply pickguard, adopting a vintage-like look. The charm lies in the solid, powerful single-coil sound produced by the thicker neck. The neck joint plate is engraved with 40th anniversary marking. Controls are simple: 5-way selector with volume, front tone, and center tone. While the pickups have no markings and cannot be definitively stated, they are likely the original "ST-VINTAGE."
Anniversary models like this are often created with considerable care, so this is a model in which Japanese craftsmen carefully inherited and accurately reproduced the essence of vintage Fenders throughout. This is a model that is rarely seen on the used market, and it appears to have been barely used, so it is in quite excellent condition. Do not miss this opportunity.

・Regarding the truss rod, from a product protection standpoint, we only check approximately 45 degrees in both the tightening and loosening directions. (When marked "adequate slack," this indicates there is approximately 45 degrees of slack in both directions.)
