A 1962 Stratocaster that has colored the sound of Jeff Beck throughout his remarkable solo career, which began with the British Invasion that swept the world and continues to this day.
This time, we have in stock the signature model "Jeff Beck Stratocaster" reproduced by the craftsmen of Fender Custom Shop based on Jeff Beck's own 1962-spec Stratocaster, a 2006 model in Olympic White finish! The weight is 3.69kg.
Alder body, Rosewood fingerboard, Maple neck, comfortable soft "C" shape neck with contoured heel. Features a 22-fret Medium Jumbo specification with LSR Roller Nut, Sperzel locking tuners, and a 2-point support tremolo with stainless steel saddles for smooth arm play. The contoured heel provides playability that feels like a different breed compared to vintage-style Strats, right up to the high frets.
Equipped with original noiseless pickups, it delivers high-resolution sound. That's a nice modern touch. The Schaller-type strap pins for stage use are also faithfully reproduced. (Strap-side pins are included as well.)
As an all-purpose white Strat that anyone can use, this model is recommended not only for Jeff Beck fans. This high level of completion is greatly influenced by the roller nut and locking tuners—tuning stability is excellent, and the contoured heel brings playability to the highest level! Even the yellowish tint that comes with 20 years since manufacturing looks cool, and the pickguard color being not pure white is also a nice touch. It's possible the pickguard has been replaced. That's a high point aesthetically, and it's a great example even within the team builds.
