$2,095.00

Description

Manufactured from 1979 to 1987, Ibanez's "Musician" series is an electric bass that has been supported by many musicians for its unique tone and high-quality construction.Among them, the MC-940 is known as a representative model with fretless specifications.

The model that has arrived this time is "MC-940" manufactured in April 1982 and weighs 4.76 kg.This model was used by Sting during his activities with ``The Police'' and has become increasingly popular in Japan.

It features a multi-layered maple and walnut neck with neck-through construction, and a fretless ebony fingerboard.

Equipped with Ibanez original pickups, and also adopted an active 3-band EQ, which was very advanced at the time.Balancer, active and passive switching is possible and has a wide range of controls.

The pegs and other hardware are also made with attention to detail, such as the original "Velve Tune BII" and the original gold-colored triple-brass bridge, and even when viewed from a modern perspective, it achieves a smooth and core mid-low range and natural attenuation. You can control any tone!

You can tell at a glance that it is made of high-quality wood, and the heavy weight gives you a sense of security. The fretted model "MC924" is also valuable, but this fretless MC series is extremely rare in the market and is becoming expensive.Don't miss this opportunity to enjoy this masterpiece of Ibanez from the 80's, which is now being reevaluated, with a tone that is perfect for both stage and recording.
