FGN, an original brand by FUJIGEN, a long-established domestic brand. With its traditional looks and meticulous assembly using cutting-edge technology, it is supported by many users not only domestically but also internationally.

This time, we have received the "Boundary BMJ-R Black" from the Boundary series, which offers excellent cost performance. 2022 model, weight is 3.89kg.

Cool looks reminiscent of the higher-end "Expert" and "J-Standard" series. The body is made of basswood, the neck uses the standard maple, and the fingerboard uses rosewood with 22 frets. (The previous model used granadillo as a substitute material, but this model has been changed to a rosewood fingerboard.)

"MADE IN JAPAN" is marked on the back of the headstock. Despite being a Japanese-made instrument with remarkably reduced costs, it is equipped with the familiar Circle Fretting System, and uses FGN's original pickups, delivering the same excellent intonation and clear, bright sound as always.

Controls feature a standard style with 2 volumes and 1 tone. Being Japanese-made, the neck has extremely high strength and is resistant to warping. It also offers the grip comfort of a U-shape neck that fits the Japanese hand and quality that can be cherished for many years. At 3.89kg, the lighter weight significantly reduces fatigue during rehearsals.

This is a bass with sufficient durability that can be recommended to anyone, whether you're just starting out or looking for a sub-bass.
