Description

FERNANDES, a long-established domestic electric guitar manufacturer, unfortunately went into bankruptcy in July 2025. One of the brand's representative basses that had gained considerable popularity was the Mockingbird-shaped bass, the "MB" series.

This time, we have received a rare mini-sized "MB-MINI" in stock! The weight is 2.58kg.

This model, which appears to have been produced around the 1990s, is a full-fledged mini bass with a through-neck configuration. It is a compact version of the "MB-85," which was a copy model of the B.C. Rich Mockingbird bass, with a scale length of approximately 63cm. It features a 3-piece maple through-neck, with mahogany used for the wing sections.

Additionally, the previous owner has upgraded the nut to a brass nut and upgraded the bridge (the original bridge, which is presumed to be original, is also included). The controls feature a simple configuration, and the strap pins have been changed to Dunlop-type.

While inheriting the originality of the "MB" series as a mini guitar, it produces a solid sound with no cheapness to it. The appearance is also excellent; this is truly a fine model. Since it can only be obtained on the used market now, please don't miss this opportunity.

【Appearance & Condition】There are minor scratches throughout and some discoloration of parts, as well as other signs of aging, but considering its age, the appearance is clean. The bridge and nut have been replaced. The original nut and strap pin are missing.
