"KGR Harmony" is an effects pedal brand that manufactures and sells instruments that stimulate artists' sensibilities and distinctive products. Among the lineup, what particularly stands out is this "Nambu Tekki" effects pedal series. Traditional Iwate Prefecture craftsmanship is used for the enclosure, cast in historic foundries. Compared to aluminum enclosures used in many effects pedals, not only the appearance but also musical elements have been carefully incorporated. You will be able to experience the energy of Japanese tradition through the response to picking and the sense of sound pressure.
This "Shizuku" is a booster/overdrive redesigned with a focus on the boost function of the "Arare" in the same series. Like a single droplet falling on a water surface creating ripples, it is a simple 2-control pedal that creates a pleasantly expanding tone.
When lowering the gain and turning up the volume, gloss and presence are added to the tone without spoiling the range. As you increase the gain, the midrange is gradually emphasized and saturation begins to develop. At maximum, a sharp crunch sound can be created.
The enclosure has a slightly wider aspect ratio, providing stability despite its compact size. The wide range characteristic of Nambu Tekki combined with the weighty sound seems to boost the player's emotions as well. A delicate and interesting pedal that perfectly suits its name, "Shizuku."
