PAULINO BERNABE MODELO-50 1999
A world-renowned master craftsman "Paulino Bernabe (1932-2007)". He is said to have possessed exceptional skill even within the Ramirez workshop, and after serving as master craftsman, he established his own independent business. He is also known for having crafted a 10-string guitar for the renowned maestro Narciso Yepes, who became famous through his performance in the film "Forbidden Games".
His son has also followed in his father's footsteps as a guitar maker, and the workshop in Madrid, Spain is a prestigious name beloved by famous guitarists and enthusiasts throughout the world.
The model we have in stock this time is a 1999-manufactured "MODELO-50". This is a workshop model produced under the supervision of Bernabe.
This model features a basic specification with Spruce or Cedar for the body top, and Madagascar Rosewood for the sides and back. (Please note that the wood materials may differ depending on the year and individual instrument.)
The nut width is approximately 51mm, and the scale is approximately 652mm. With an extremely brilliant and elegant tone and assured quality, the fine craftsmanship and grain patterns are beautiful, combining luxury and vintage character. The instrument possesses wonderful presence full of charm as a guitar for performing many masterpieces, enveloped in the distinctive tonal character unique to Bernabe.
【Accessories】Hard case
【Appearance & Condition】Apart from some dulling of parts, there are scratches, scuffs, small dents, cloudiness, and dirt throughout. The bracing has been corrected, and the saddle has been processed in our shop. There are signs of use including crack repair marks, but these have been cleanly repaired and do not impede current playability.
【Truss Rod】This model does not have a rod (Neck has a slight relief)
【Frets】Approximately 70% (no impediment to normal playing)

【Nut Width】Approximately 50mm
【String Height】At 12F: 1st string approximately 2.5mm / 6th string approximately 3.7mm

・Regarding the truss rod, from a product protection perspective, we perform checks only up to approximately 45 degrees in both the tightening and loosening directions. (When marked "margin available", this indicates 45 degrees of margin in both directions.)
