We have just received a cutaway style "CTM OMC-28" from 2017.
While we cannot make definitive statements due to custom ordering, it appears to feature an Adirondack spruce top, rosewood sides & back, mahogany neck, and ebony fretboard & bridge. The nut width is 44.5mm.
Inlays on only the 3rd, 5th, and 7th frets add a sense of luxury. The open-back tuning pegs and tortoiseshell-pattern pickguard have a vintage feel, and the binding also creates an elegant appearance.
By adopting a cutaway on the OM shape, high position playability is exceptional. Despite its long scale and compact, easy-to-hold size, it delivers substantial sound pressure, making this body shape extremely popular across all playing styles due to its versatility and ease of use.
With low string action, this custom shop OM model is ready for recording work right away. We highly recommend trying this instrument. A supreme Martin that combines luxury and understated elegance, delivering an exquisite Martin sound!
